“A Celebration of Hope, Health & Fitness”
Addiction NI will round up its year of 40th Anniversary Celebrations with its annual Race to Recovery. This is our 7th year running the event and the ongoing support of all our runners and walkers is very much appreciated. We are delighted to once again have the support of our sponsor iCare Charity
The Race to Recovery focuses on the positive outcomes for the 1000’s of people embarking on recovery with the support of Addiction NI, family, friends.
The event will take place in Ormeau Park on Sunday 10th March with a later start time of 11am to accommodate the Junior Park Room and to allow them the opportunity to get involved with the event.
We are calling on runners, joggers, children, families, dog walkers, Sunday strollers and pram pushers to get involved in either the 10K or 3K event.
The run is ideally placed falling just 8 weeks before the Belfast Marathon and so provides the perfect training opportunity for both runner and walkers.
Having listened to feedback from our runner and as a momentum of this milestone anniversary all runners will receive a limited edition 40th Anniversary water bottle and a medal.
10K – The 10K route has been certified by Athletics NI. All 10K runners will be provided with a time chip.
3K – The 3K course is available to fun runners, children, families, dog walkers or pram pushers so please come along and join in the fun.
